Download Mexican Art Museum: The Caminos Teen Artists' Latest Masterpiece

The Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center is excited to announce its latest public art installation, the La Mujer mosaic mural, which was created by participants in the ESB MACC's Caminos teen leadership program. This stunning piece of art is now accessible outside the construction fencing and can be easily viewed from the Ann and Roy Butler Hike & Bike trail at Ladybird Lake.

The mural is a testament to the talent and creativity of the Caminos teen artists, who worked under the guidance of local muralist Jay Muzacz and program coordinator Frederico Geib. The team consisted of 11 talented individuals: Abraham Hernandez, Ana Chavez, Anna Martinez, Bianca Olivares Reyes, Brandon Muniz, Elvis Muniz, Esmeralda Rodriguez, Gabby Gonzales, Natalia Dominguez, Natalie Hernandez, and Samantha Seamon.

The mural is a beautiful representation of the theme 'La Mujer,' which celebrates the strength, beauty, and resilience of women. It features vibrant colors and intricate designs that pay homage to Mexican culture and heritage. The La Mujer mosaic mural is not only a stunning work of art but also a symbol of empowerment and inspiration for all who see it.
